Talking xxr 530

so i think i finally decided on which wheel on going for, after being inspired by tldude's car and seeing other various threads I'm going to go with the xxr 530's my question is. fitment. i know i know, there are many threads, believe me i've looked. i got some answers but sort of vague so I'm starting my own thread for my own question. so heres what I'm thinking.

Make: XXR Model: 530
Size:18x8.75 offset +20(fr) 18x9.75 offset +20 (rear)

i believe these should fit but my question is how much drop should i do and what tire size should i get to make the stance of the car like this with this much poke an wheel stretch. and would this sacrifice too much ride comfort? link to the picture below.. i saw it on another thread. and i know its not a 3g TL but still would like this fitment/look with the xxr 530's give me your inputs

would going 8.75 all around give me this look also or should i go staggered and get an inch bigger in the back? what will look more like the pic above ^ thats the look i desire for my ride =D

Isn't there a XXR 530 thread? Shoulda just posted there.

Good decision. I would've got them if it wasn't for the delay in shipment. I'm a very impatient person at times.

yes i did but no one seems to be running a staggered set up, i like how TLdude got his fitted but I'm going more for this look.... and idk how to get that and if its even reasonable, since this is my DD.....

hopefully the links work. but i want that kind of stance and drop. this stance would look sick with the 530's..

another picture, more or less how i want wheels to sit...

its reasonable.. most do it. I did it for a short while. you can do 18x8.75 +20 all around with 225/40 tires and add spacers in the rear to get a "staggered" look but still be able to rotate tires

yes, 17s only look good when wide and slammed. you can't go wrong with 18s!

18x9.5 +20

I rly don't see a need for +15... if you don't like the stance then you can always get spacers afterwards, but 18x9.75 is plenty wide

the 527's are 9.75...im actually leaning more towards the battles which are 9.5 et +15/ I'm wondering how 18's would look on battles

9.5 +15 is pretty wide up front and will poke more than the rear... if you run a +15 up front you will need to run a 225/40/18 and not be slammed because when turning it would rub... maybe slight fender pull would help

rears will be flush and will need rear fenders pulled and a 225 width tire also

it just depends on how low you want to go on how much fender rolling and camber you will need to run on this set up

thanks!. sucks to hear that though. idk if I'm al for the fender pulling. the most id be willing to do is roll them , get mild stretch on tires and a camber kit. i wish i could magically come across a TL with 17" battles dropped lol. that would give me a good input on how they truly look because in pictures they look huge!! none of my friends guessed they were 17's
