btw the wheels themself are VERY strong and lightweight.
about a week after i mounted my F14's...i hit a major pothole/dip in the road going around 80mph and the sound was earth shattering. i just knew that i had cracked my brand new wheel and probably destroyed my tire.
to my surprise, i got out and checked out the damage. here is what it looked like. less than a dime sized dent on the outer lip and that's it. the picture actually makes it look worse than it really is. i used touch up paint on the exposed part and it blends in perfect. i plan on getting it fixed when i PC my wheels sometime next spring.
all in all, these are great wheels. one of the best looking designs i've seen IMO.

I agree with Sharky....I think couple companies can really built lightweight and strong rims which are affordable (not like 4K a set).....
I think Forgestar is right there with Enkei with their wheel manufacturing...

I know my Aspecs can take a beating...as my fiancee when I made the mistake of putting them on her car.
My works, lucky for me I haven't had to test them out yet. I'd hope they are good quality though.

yea I already ordered coil overs. just debating on what wheels to get. I'm thinking the xxr530 18x8.75 up front and 18x9.75 in the back. et 20 all around. would a 215 up front and 225 in the back be good? idk anything about caber and camber kits so enlighten me. also HOW bad would ride quality get, stretching tires like this.i know it can't be too great and i live in nyc but i love the look and stance.

I'm running a 225 on a 9" wheel...I wouldn't suggest going much thinner than that...mine isn't a TRUE stretch, but it looks great. Plus, FL roads aren't bad.
About camber, I always recommend to people trying to get a good stance etc...don't get a camber kit initially...get your wheels (with good offset or close to what you want, always easier to spacer it out, if it starts off sticking out too far there's nothing you can do), get your coilovers and set the height where you want it, have your fenders rolled, then add spacers to make it super flush...that's how you'd determine how much room you have before the tire makes contact with fender. THEN put on a camber kit and bring the top of the tire out as far as possible for that super flush look.

i don't know how much a larger sidewall would've helped me honestly.

^^^ hahhaha no sidewalls for you fellas....
since i drive a lot (~25K per year) i went with 235/40/18 on an 18x8.5.....tad bit of a stretch, tad bit of rim protection and doesn't look bad at all....
i wanted to go with 225, but no rim protection was a deal breaker.....
