Winter wheel fitments and where to look?

Hey all, Just bought my first TL. Its a 07 TL-S and on all of my previous cars Ive had seperate winter wheels and tires that I swap on for here in NE Ohio. But the bigger Brembos have thrown me for a loop and Im not positive what wheels and size of wheels will fit. My previous car was a maxima and I ran a smaller diameter previous generation maxima wheel in the winter. I think Im stuck with 17s correct? Besides TL-s and larger A Spec rims are there any other preferably cheaper and easier to find oem wheel thatll fit? Or should I just pick something out of the rim line up that tirerack says will fit?
Thanks

Your best bet is to stick with OEM rims. I'm using my Type-S "waffles" for Winter use and have A-Spec rims for Summer use.
Here is a set for sale here on AZ - https://acurazine.com/forums/car-parts-sale-361/tl-garage-sale-917288/

Thanks for the feedback on the Blizzaks. Im an Mechanical Engineer for Bridgestone in the Innovation Lab and we're constantly whipping up new designs and constructions to test and try out. The tire choice will definately be blizzak ws80 but I was more concerned on wheels, so look for another set of waffles??

You can either look for another set of waffles or use your waffles for winter use and get yourself a set of aftermarket rims you like. Some of this will depend on what you want to spend..........

I can get the blizzaks cheap through work and swap them onto my waffles here in the lab myself although I would rather have a seperate set of wheels. Maybe Ill just do that for this winter and worry about another set of rims for next season. I love the look of the waffles but 2 of the 4 do have some rash on them from the previous owner. Maybe Ill keep my eyes out for another clean set to use as my summer set up.

Did you look at the set in the thread I posted above? You can also post a WTB (Wnated To Buy) in the Black Market as well.

^^^i was tempted by these. Especially since I need new tires...(would sell my waffles)
But I just love the waffles too darn much!
Plus, the 17's ride better as opposed to 18's I'd bet

Same here. I just really like the look and color of the waffles with my CBP car.

I have OEM TL 5 spoke rims for the winter time. They would be cheaper for you to find than getting another set of waffles for the winter.
