Winter rims/wheels

i have some stock steelies from my 03 accord with winter tires, which might go onto my wife's 08 accord...though we might park one vehicle this coming winter.

anyway, in case i also need winters for my 07 TL, i was wondering what everyone does about winter wheels, and if there are any recommendations.

i'd want to have a second set of wheels/rims. i'm not 'overly' concerned about the look, unless the price is not too high. do people generally get a second set of wheels and then install a second set of TMPS sensors? and if you do this, does the car computer know it's a new set of TMPS sensors, or does it get confused?

i wouldn't want to create more hassle for myself if i needed to get the car reprogrammed at the dealer every time i change to winter wheels/tires.

and in that case, what if i get wheels that don't have the TMPS sensors? is that a huge deal? i'll get the warning from the MID, but can i turn that off or ignore it? i can deal with a few months of TPMS error if it means i don't have to buy wheels that accommodate TMPS and buy another set of TMPS sensors. i'm in southern ontario, canada.

like i said, not overly concerned about the look if it means i'll save some money (unless it's not that much more, but even the sensors would be a couple hundred. first kid due in january, so...er...i hear that's supposed to be expensive.

what do you guys do or suggest?

looks like u got an 07 TL 5AT non brembo.

if u wanna go super cheap... skip the TPMS and get some 16" RSX wheels... they fit perfectly.

but... personally, I just have a set of 17" stockies equipped with winters and switch out my 18" a-specs when the time is right:

I run XXR's as my winter wheels with Achilles snow tires. Both the wheels and tires are cheap, so I don't mind them getting salty all winter...

If you do get new sensors: Vehicle will automatically learn new tire pressure sensors after driving for several minutes above 15mph.
