Will they fit 19x8.5 45offset 255/35 R19

I am trying to figure out if a 19 x 8.5 wheel with a 45 offset will fit on my 04 TL 5AT
with a 255/35 R19 BFG. Does anyone know if they will fit.

Thanks

I doubt the front will fit. I have 235 in the front and 275 on the rear.

Are you running the same size wheel on both fron and back or are you staggered?

255/35/19 is a recommended tire size for 19" rim at discount tire. And since you have the standard +45 offset, Im sure you won't have a problem...

Here is the link to recommended plus-size tires for the 3G TL:

Just know that if you use 255 or 245 width the sidewalls are going to look very big

It drastically takes away from the sportiness of the rims, and makes them look smaller

235-35-19 just looks so damn nice wouldn't have it any other way..

I would have to disagree. I think a 235/35-19 looks too wimply on a 8.5" wide wheel. The shoulder is rolled too much and there is absolutely no rim protection width and depth wise. The 255/35-19 will still look low profile and offer a bit of rim protection for a 8.5" wheel. If the front works then I would say go for it. A 255/35-19 tire tends to be much more expensive than a 245/35/-19 or 235/35/19.

The sidewall difference between 235/35/19 and 245/35/19 is 3.5mm (and 7mm for 255/35/19). That is barely noticeable. Besides, a wider tire is definitely a "sportier" look. I think you've got your terminology mixed up and you meant to say the smaller tire looks more "blingtastic"...

Yes my wheels are staggered.
19x8.5 +30 offset 235-35-19 in the front
19x9.5 +38 offset 275-30-19 in the rear

Your front's won't fit a 255 because you have a +30 offset. If you had a +45 offset (like Conor does), you could fit a tire that was 30mm wider and still have the same fender/tire clearance.

Of course at +45, things like spoke design and caliper clearance become an issue for the 6MT...
