I have a tsx and I want to install a bbk from an rl
I know the tl-s waffle wheels will clear w/o a spacer

so if the waffles, clear, these should clear too but i'm trying to figure out if they have been used on a tl-s and will work?

All 3G stock wheels are 17x8 +45, so theoretically they should fit. Also, keep in mind that RL calipers are different sizes than the TL Brembos.

The '04-'06 TL wheels will fit with no probelms either the base or the Brembo equipped cars, but the ones shown here are from a '07-'08 base TL and although they will "fit", they reside too close to the Brembo calipers so will need a slight spacer to gain clearance to be in compliance with the Brembo recommened clearance. This is if the Brembos are from the TL.

Ahh ok. The waffles have 1/2 in clearance for
The advics calipers. If these won't work w/o spacers
I'll look for as set of waffles

They're just harder to find and pricier

I have the base TL wheels on my TSX with the TL Brembos. They fit no problem, and although they are pretty close, I don't see an issue.

Question #1 are the advics rl calipers bigger than the tl brembos?
Question #2 how much clearance is required before it becomes unsafe?

I believe they are the same size, Brembo and Advics. I was looking at them on my friends Accord and they seemed very similar.

And clearance, for me mind you, would be about 4mm. That's just me though.
