Exclamation Will these ASA clear the brembos?

Hi guys,

I was wondering if I could install the ASA ST3 on my 6sp MT since I have brembos ?

I read a lot about the rims in general but its still not clear....I read that the stock 17'' have an offset of 45.

If I choose the 19'' model, that has +42mm offset would those clear brembos??

I just don't wanna buy before being really sure, and I know that a lot of you guys are pros so...better ask.

Thanks for ya help!

I know Al, (BLACKURA_NY), had these wheels on his 3G Type-S, but I couldn't tell you his offset. Maybe you can PM him, or maybe he'll chime in?

Tirerack.com says they'll fit, and they're VERY accurate.

+42mm Offset with ROOM to spare

i had them clear my Rotora BBK, and still had almost a finger gap between the caliper and wheel... man, i loved those wheels.. nobody else liked them but me =(

they are a PERFECT fit for the 3G... 19x 8.5 +42 (same as RJ inspyre).. heavy though.. chrome finish was just about 30lbs... silver finish was like 29
oh yea, i also test fitted them on my 08 TL-S .. clears nooo problem

They are discontinued....

Sport Edition ST3 .. same EXACT wheel... should be like $220 in chrome, and $205 in silver...
Sport Edition actually bought ASA out.

the ASA's are @ $140ish because they are discontinued, and they only have like 3 pieces left (last time i checked)

just get the sport edition wheel.. its a super price. When i bought the ASA's a year and a half ago, i paid like $290 a wheel... so good deal here!!

I almost bought these from blackura since they are 5spoke and look so damn good, but the weight killed it for me, he pretty much gave them away

nbp with chrome or go home, cuz black and chrome is killer

Will the following specs fit the 07 Type S with no prob?
Size: 18x8
Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3
Offset: +35
Also, what is a good tire size, i need a tire with some meat on it because the potholes are horrible over here. I dont want anything overly meaty, but not too small either. Sorry to post in your thread, i didnt think it would be necessary to open a new one when i can just post here.

there is a seller on ebay who always has the st3's with tires for like 1100 shipped, he currently only has a set thats 5x112 bolt pattern, I would suggest adding him to your watch list cuz I am pretty sure he will have the sport edition st3 in the size you need
