Without offset and width, it's tough to determine if it will rub or not.

I think though, you should go with 245/35 R19, instead of /40. Less chance of rubbing with 35 ratio and it keeps the overall diameter very close to stock.

definetly need offset and wheel width at 260HP stated...
also, your speedo is off with that 40 series tire...

offset is 45mm 5x114.3 bolt pattern
is it possible to sell the 40 series tires to a tire shop and get 35 series tires...since they have been used much at all ...maybe 20miles on them at most?

what's the width of the wheel? my guess is 8.5... which in that case you should be fine as far as the sidewalls are concerned, and you'd probably be ok on the height as well...

with that 40 series tire, your speedo is 5.5% off, so when your speedo says 60, you're actually going 63.3

you could try to work something out with the tire shop, its really up to them what they want to do. Did you tell them the tire size or did they tell you what you should get? If they told you, maybe you can convince them that their suggestion was not suitable, but if you chose the tire size, it is your fault. Good luck!

yea +15 offset is what the wheels are....thought they were 45 but the guy stated ET= +15 so i dunno...does that mean they will stick out more?

btw these are axis milanos wheel 19x8.5 wrapped with 245/40/19

+15 offset will stick out. The wheels are probably fitted for a Nissan 350Z.

Imagine this, with 8.5 width and +15 offset, the wheels will be pushed outward 1.43 inches than the original 17 inch.

why did you say 45 before? we could have warned you if you had originally said it was a 15mm offset...

If the shop recommended this size for your TL, you should raise hell and return the wheels. They should eat the return shipping cost too. BUT, if YOU specified the size, you're pretty much out of luck.
