Need help from someone in the know, please. My understanding of the TL is that if suspension parts (whether springs/coilovers/whatever) fit the base TL, they will also fit the Type S. But on Eibach's website they only pair the Adjustable Coilovers with the base model. I can get a killer deal on Eibach parts right now and I dont just want to get springs, for several reasons. I called Eibach and spoke with someone who told me they dont claim it fits the Type S simply because they didnt test it on the Type S. He couldnt tell me if it would fit or not. I tried the search function here and also googling to no avail. Thanks, all.

i can't imagine why they would not fit.

suspension components are the same for base and type-s. any coilover set i've seen/read about are compatible for all 04-08 models.

All 04-08 TL suspension will fit all 04-08 TLs. However, the TL-S has a heavier front end so the front end may sag more if the suspension is based off the base TL.

^ Thank you, XLR8. Can I ask one more question ... Does it make sense for me to think that since the suspension is in fact adjustable, I could compensate for this by how I would set it? I imagine the weight difference is pretty nominal, right?
