Question Will 235/45-17's fit w/ 55mm offset?

Using Cl-S wheels, Comptech springs, Tokico Illuminas. What are tire options?
235/45-17?
235/50-17?
225/50-17?

Circumference wise, 235/45/17 is the best and 225/50/17 will also work. I'd stay away from the 235/50/17... too big. The only concern is you might be pushing it with a 235 on a 7" rim. I think the safest is the 225/50/17 on the CL-S 17x7 rim.

You might have some mild trimming on the rear (ie plastic tab). Check out tirerack.com. Tons of good information.
