Question Will 225/45/18 fit A-SPEC Rims?

As the title suggest, will 225/45/18 tires fit over the 18 inch aspec rims?

Now I know there are better sizes that will better, I know 225/45/18 gives a overall 26" diameter which is larger than stock, but it should still be better than 245/45/18 (26.7" diameter) which were on the car when I bought it.

I just want to know if 225/45/18 will fit the rims at all. The reason I'm considering these is because I can get a good deal.

Thanks in advanced.

Has anybody done this on their car and can show pictures?

I have a set of Eagle RSA's that will be going on the TL A-Spec rims
Same size as 225/45/18

Just worried about the stretch being too much or de beading or something.

225/45-18 is spec'd for a 7"-8.5" wheel width, no problems.
The RS-A has only a 7.1" tread width and a 91 load rating, 93 OEM, but the 400 lbs shouldn't pose a problem, so might as well save some money and use the tires available.

There shouldn't be much stretch and I absolutely wouldn't worry about de beading, I had 225/40/18 on a set of 8.75 wide wheels and it barely stretched on.

225 is approved up to 9 inches by the manufacturer, so its well within spec. Plenty of people running 225 on 8.75 and 9 inch wheels here with no issues

Odd, I guess its manufacturer to manufacturer. Conti ExtremeContact DW and Michelin Pilot Super Sports for example are both 7.5 - 9.0 for approved wheel width

EDIT: I'm a moron, I'm looking at 225/40/18, not 45/18. Welp, sorry for the stupidity.
