will 19x8 et25 fit my tl

hi, im just curious if 19x8 with et 25 fit my front wheels with 235x19x35 tires. also will 19x9.5 with et 35 with 265x19x30 fit the rear wheels

19x8 +25 is most likely going to stick out

When compared to stock wheels 17x8 +45mm, those 19x8 +25mm have the follow results:

Inner Clearance: 20mm MORE (the inside of the wheel to the strut housing)
Outer Position: EXTEND an extra 20mm (position of the outside edge of the wheel)

20 millimeters = 0.79 inch

19x8 +25 will only clear if you use 225/35-19 tires and you probably won't be able to lower the car

19x9.5 +35 will clear with 265/30-19 but again you probably won't be able to lower

imo I would not go lower than 19x8 +32 in the front and 19x9.5 +38 in the rear

NOPE - WON'T FIT. I have 19x8 with a 30 offset and 245/35-19's (all 4 wheels) and they will rub (in the rear) every once in a while over major bumps and/or while corner VERY hard. a 25 offset pushes the tire out EVEN further so with a similarly sized tire as I have, it would also rub only worse. As far as 265 width goes...you would need a wheel with AT LEAST a 40 offset to have ANY chance at working.

ABSOLUTELY YES... :toocool:

You will have to roll your fenders in the rear...

It also depends on the tire brand you'll be using... for example if you use DUNLOP tires they usually have a very bulgy sidewall and will Rub... but if you use the Falken tires they are tailored to the VIP scene and have a more slanted sidewall...

Agreed, it DOES depend on the brand of the tire, however, I thought Falken had pretty bulgy sidewalls:dunno: Aren't Toyos the one with decently slanted sidewalls?

I think Falkens have pretty big sidewalls. So do Kumhos and some Dunlops (such as SP9000).

My Dunlop Direzza DZ101s are on the small side, much smaller than Falken FK452.

My bad. I thought he said he had +25 in the rear as well (so when I wrote it I thought he was trying to do 19x9.5 with +25 offset and 265 tires which wold not have worked). Just re-read and saw +35. But I may be able to contribute actual details. The Falken 452's DO have "blocky" sidewalls (bigger/wider than Yokos and others) and may be part of what contributes to my rubbing with the +30 19x8's I have in the rear.

ballinfizzle89 01-08-2008 05:42 PM

Ndabunka...yeah definitely. People running 235's are fine with 19x8 +30 though.

I wonder how he would do with a 19x9.5 and a 245 tire instead of a 265

qtrung909 01-09-2008 03:33 PM

It would most likely be really stretched out with the 245's but it might work.

Will 19x8.5 37mm offset fit on a 2008 Acura TL?? thinking of using 235/35/19 Toyo or nitto tires.......
