should move this to the wheel/tire/suspension section but what wheels are they? That will probably be the deciding factor

I have 17x8.5 45mm et. and they clear my brembos, not by much, but no issues. OEM double 5 spokes.

little confused about what wheels you will be putting on...what are they gonna be? post pics or tell us the brand/model...you just mention the OEM 5 spokes, but they are not 17x8.5...they are 17x8...

but like vill0169 said, the wheels themselves will be the deciding factor...not every 17x9 wheel has the same clearance...

i want to get rpf1, had them for all my previous cars and now this car will enter the concave zone w/ them (hopefully) perhaps bbs lm but i'm most set on rpf1 for its most for its moneys worth wheel

since x9 is when they start to concave and i am super DO WANT! so i want it to fit w/o having to roll/pull and without rubbing. i plan to have the fender tuck or sit on top of the tire, static front camber w/ adjustable rear camber. i also turn hard and drive spiritedly occasionally.

thanks

RPF1 in those specs won't clear the brakes. At least I don't think. Someone already asked this question before. Try searching around.

I'm not a fan of pic whoring (i've already posted these like ten times in other threads), but since you mentioned RPF-1s I need to chime in...of course these aren't Brembos, but to give you an idea, mine are already pretty darn close to base brake calipers...so like myron said, doubt they would clear...BUTTT, possibly with spacers they WILL clear...even with just 5mm...and yes, I love my RPF-1s...

17x9 +45 with 255/40 (which is the PERFECT size tire for these wheels without any fenda rolling or pulling...)

BTW, first pic before the drop...second, after...

RPF1's would have to be 8.5 or 9.5 wide to clear the brembo calipers. Can't remember what the ideal offsets are but 17x9 RPF1's will NOT fit the 6MT. the 17x9 Enkei PF01 WILL fit the brembos.

worked the exact same way on our STI.

the fenda rolla I like how that looks. You just need to go lower and you are set.

Thanks! I might put the rear springs on the lower perch on my koni's to even out the rake...as it is though I'm having a tough enough time trying not to scrape my bumper!
