I just find it interesting that someone out there had the same thoughts as me. I got my Antha last year Aug. Have been searching for a set of rims, can't find any so far. Reason being is I found that most of the TLs with aftermarket rims look like a toy. I cannot feel the aura from looking at the pictures!! Perhaps I have to see it in person.

I have seen a few TLs here in Vancouver with RIMs but they did not have any WOW factor at all.... what caught my attention was the big shinning lips.... which any deep dish rims can do it....

Then, I finally found this:





These rims are insanely expensive which is usual... this happens everytime I pick something I like. I think it may be crazy to put on a set of $6000 rims on a 40k+ car. Figured out I would buy more stocks if I had $6000 sitting around for a set of rims. BUT I THINK ABOUT THESE RIMS EVERYDAY!!

Oh well, guess I have to keep searhing. And, I know what HondaFans is talking about. The point is I don't want to buy a set of rims just because of I want to be different from other stock TLs. I don't want the car to look like a toy car. I agree with HondaFans that the stocks rims (I have the stock 17",not even the aspec 18") look awesome on the ride. It is not overkilling, works well with the nice lines of the TL.

I saw RonJon's Inspyre Liquid Graphite 19", I'm waiting to see some pictures... I think those should look good on an antha, simple & clean.

Some look good and some dont' with after market's!.....!...I seen some wheel's by axis, deep -dish type lip's look tough!.....( a new line for FWD I think?...., It all depend's on the wheel design , just like anything else!.....on the other hand I seen a few with DUB's on them like the Dodge magnum's that looked just plain "WACK"!

I think the reason why they are expensive is because of those are 3 pieces rims. The road condition in Vancouver is not good for 3 pieces rims. Not a good idea to shell out the bullets for them... too many potholes on the road.

2. the 3.2 TL in a 5AT makes a great car to commute in, while the 3.5 TL-S 6spd is fun to beat the shit out of on the weekends....Have you driven the tl-s...its far from the "same car"

Now that is an s2000 that "Bozo The Clown" would be sure to love. His hair would match the wheels. It is certainly a unique ride and I'm sure draws its share of attention, but if I were a betting man I'd put down some smack that it draws plenty of laughs as well.

i asked a variety of people that i knew...from car fanatics to people who just don't care about their car period, majority of them said that the Privat Netz looked better...putting quality etc aside... But it seems majority of all the motor heads like the gold/white combo...it's kind of a split... I believe though, those Privat Netz are the best looking wheels for the money that FIT the TL perfectly.

The Private Nets look great for the price, BUT the nobel gold GT-S look great.

Buying a car that costs quite a bit, WHY NOT save longer and get quality and

great looks first. Who cares what others think. Even though I think the gold

GT-S look FANTASTIC on white TL'S. If my car was white I KNOW what wheel

and color I would get. But my car is ASM silver, so I am not 100% sure what

I will get next.

Hey guys....honest opinion. I haven't bought rims since 2000. I like many of you hate the type s wheels. I drive clients in my car. I was thinking the ronjon legends in the 18s. I want something lightweight and factory looking. Liquid graphite? Let me know your thoughts please, I am 30 years old no rice boy stuff anymore

I like the legends, I considered them myself. I saw a few members pics who put on a larger tire that made them look like shit in 18' I think they did the wider tire thing people were talking about. Personally I would go 19' with a minor drop but if your driving clients around that might ride a little rough, so I would go 18's with the stock A-spec tire size on them rim, that way it will ride stock and look PIMP. I ended up being cheap and just getting rubber for my stockers. Wish I could have afforded 19's and suspension but that's a little much for student. When the 09 comes out rest assured it will be on RonJons latest creation lol.
