whooshing noise after putting on hub rings??
I put my new 19's on (19x 8.5 +35 235/35/19)
and first week didnt have hub rings, got minor vibrations above 80 mph
got hub rings(wrong size was shipped with wheels) and after installing, i get decent vibrations between 50 mph and 70mph, but below and above the ride is smooth...not sure whats the problem...having the wheels rebalanced on monday by tirevan...(they coem to ur house or job, its sweet)
but i noticed a whooshing kind of noise when i am driving(can only hear it when the windows are down), and ive never "rubbed" so im not sure what it sounds like, and i dont really think it is rubbing...but im clueless and the noise is annoying...
anyone have any ideas of this vague description?

nah...they sent 60.1 and i didnt put them on, i rode for a week without rings, they sent the 64.1 and i put them on...im going to take the rings off and drive and see if all problems go away...
i just thought the hub rings keep it center, therefore keeping it smooth...

Did you have this noise after you put on the 19s and without rings and the windows down? Or just noticing it now? 19s because of the lesser side wall can transmit a lot more road noise.
Also if you got low end tires they sometimes can be an issue and hard to balance. Look for a shop with a Hunter road force balancer. Here is some good reading

i had 18's on before and nothign before...
the noise isnt rubber to pavement, it sounds like some metal rubbing/whooshing...
these bridgestone 960's are much quieter than my gy f1/as
someone mentioned something like it may be the dust shield rubbing, but i duno what that looks like...
they def used hunter road force...
