Red face Where should I get my new 20" wheels mounted at?

Hi Members of This Forum

I just bought an '06 w/ navi and I am in the process of picking up a set of 20" DCR Forged Hockenheim wheels and new tires. Just wanted to know if it was better to get them mounted at an Acura Dealership or just any tire shop. I'm thinking at the Acura Dealership they would be more cautious when mounting the tires to the wheels. Just because we bought our vehicles from them. They would have better knowledge of the factory TPMS since i will have to install new ones for the new set of wheels. It will be a big investment so I wanted things to go smooth. I've heard stories of wheels getting scratched at small tireshops and places such as costco and wheel works. Any comments and suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

I recommend you go to a place that sells and mounts 20+ inch rims as their main business. Most places like that usually deal with TPMS on a daily basis and know exactly what they are doing and have the correct equipment to mount those low profile tires on big diameter wheels.

I would definately recommend Discount Tire if there is one near you. They did an excellent job on my 20's with TPMS.
