when to do aspec alignment ??

Going to be putting aspec suspension on. Was wondering when I should do the alignment? should i ride out for a few hundred miles before or should i do it the same day after the install?? I am riding on stock rims for now until i get new rims. when i get new rims, do i need another alignment again????

You won't need an alighnment after new rims. I would wait a couple weeks after the drop to let everything settle in before aligning.

I would get 4-wheel alignment done after suspension work since TL has very sensitive suspension, but some say wait for it to break in first then do alignment.

Wheel size will not change the the physical parts that adjust to change the alignment settings
If you lower or raise the car, then its need alignment
The old days of oil filled shocks are gone, and with them the settling in period.
There is nothing to settle in now, install- if DIY check work after driving a day- all the bolts are tight-
if done by a shop, they drive around the block to make sure everything is tight and then onto the alignment rack. You should get it back ready to go anywhere immediatly

Yea don't get the alignment done right away, let the car settle first. Learn from my mistake, had the alignment done right after. Two weeks later, once the car settled. It was back to the shop again and I was in the waiting lounge watching watered down direct tv.

I waited about 400 or 500 miles (~3 1/2 weeks). After about 10 days, I went back and double checked the Torque on all the accesible bolts. Then a week later went for alignment.

Toe on the front was WAY out. Better on the rear, but still out of spec. I had noticed for the couple weeks prior a very slight pull to the right.

Camber was in on the right side and barely out on the left side (there is no camber adjustment on our car UNLESS you add an after-market kit). Given how close the camber is to spec, if I keep a good toe alignment, tire wear should be fine.

I purchsed a 3-year "any time" alignment package for $139.
