anyone have any insight on this lip, must be costume...and its obviously on a type -s.



i would give up the a-spec lip for this one

i love the way the tire looks like it sticks out of the rim...(noticed not all cars with these rims look like this...so is its gotta be the tire that gives it that look RIGHT?)

Yes it's the tire. His wheel width is 9.5 and he has i think 275 wide tires on them. My rpf1's stretch rather than stick out cause im 9 width with 235's.

Anyways, Pm aznbo187. He may still have the wheels for sale if you're interested in them.

Oh and that front lip on the racecar TL is most likely custom.

I dont think he meant to say it as "it's obviously not a type-s", but rather as "it's hard to tell but it's not a type-s".

He's right though, it's not a real type-s. It's a base 6mt.

didn't they say the shell was a reg TL; but the motor running was Type-S engine?

if that were that A-spec LIP for 08 Type-S i'd have traded in ROFL....sigh, it looks so sexy

ironically, it doesn't deviate too far from one of ronjon's sketches for possible Type-S body kit that never went through

We know because
1) the guy is popular (he sells the best exhaust) on the forum and we know his car
2) the tail lights are from a base model, side mirrors have no lights, trunk trim is matte finish. I could go on and on.

tail lights and side markers are not type s....i seriously doubt anyone would go through the trouble to take off the smoked side markers in the rear and replace them with red ones like the standard tl....and the tail lights are standard tl as well....

No, the ones that were in the black market a few weeks back are the EXACT wheels and tires that are in the pic you provided. That's aznbo's (ATLP) car and he was selling that rim/tire setup.

WTF??? Open your eyes genius, those are CLEARLY Type-S tail lights and side markers.

i guess i am just a master of the obvious and you arent....

my type s has smoked side markers, not red, and my tail lights are all red lense, with the smoke dividers....not red with white inserts....i guess you missed that genius...

the lip on the honda research team is 100% custom, looks to be made by APR
