Wheel/Tire Dimensions Explained?!?!

I am looking to get a set of new rims/tires, but have no idea what all the figures associated with rims actually mean.

Could someone direct me to a site that explains what the dimensions stand for as well as the definitions of some of the jargon like 'staggered', 'offset', etc.?

parinpmehta... i see youre located in charlotte. if you would like an in depth and comprehensive one on one wheel selection you might want want to consider making a trip over to desmond performance off 74 just outside of 485 in matthews. talk to Judy Desmond and she will get you started.

www.desmondperformance.com

this site doesnt explain wheel terms but it will give you info about the shop.
