Back in an AC...had a 2.3 CL quite a ways back, but I've been in Jeeps since then until I recently talked the wife into ditching the big-body Altimas and G35/7 that she's been into, for the sleek sporty styling of a TL.

Now, we have an '05 base edition (I've loved the 3Gs since day one) and, since it's hers, I will be practicing the hell out of restraint in modifying it (both performance and aesthetics), so I'm curious as to some of your setups out there.
I'm interested in suspension upgrades and seeing the stance on 3Gs with the factory silver 5-star basic wheels (seen in link below) and if anyone has just gone to a wider tire than factory setup or anything like that. Personally, while I'm sure I'll get bored eventually, I really love the factory wheels.
Also, wouldn't mind seeing if anyone powder-coated or even did a DIY makeover on those OEM wheels.

welcome back. theres plenty info on coilovers or springs.. and wheel set ups throughout azine in the photograph section and this one.. I'm sure if u searched specifically at what you're looking for (ex: eibach springs) you'll find tons of threads already discussed

Very slick, jwr0ng...clean as hell. Loving the amber fogs, too. Is that a cover/film over stock or did you replace the whole assembly?

I always said that the Lexus IS and the Acura TL ('04+) were two cars that I could own and love without ever even customizing or tuning in any way, but I see now, I may have to amend that statement. LOL!
