wheel/ spacer question

Okay, so I recently purchased some new wheels with the dimensions 19x8.5 with a 45 offset. To my understanding our stock wheels have a 45 offset as well. Shouldnt the new wheels that i bought fit and clear the brembos on my 6mt because the offset is the same, or does it change when you increase the wheel size? I just got the tires on and i went to put these on and they hit my calipers... im confused! also if a spacer is needed how do i measure how many mm i need it to be?

put on a 5mm.
if it doesn't fit, put on another 5mm.

if it fits, you need a 10mm... lol

there's also 2mm and 3mm spacers but having 2 spacers imo is bad for the car.

if you need a 10mm spacer, make sure you get spacers with studs on them because stock studs will be too short for your lug nuts after 10mm spacer installed.

the stock wheels are 17x8" with a 45mm offset. so the equivalent offset on your 19x 8.5" is 39mm which actually helps to clear the front calipers a little. the problem is that the spoke design on the 19's doesn't flare out enough to clear the brakes so just get a 5 or 10mm spacer like as2222222222 said.

if u can, exchange the rims for one with a slightly lower offset like 35-40mm. if u can't, just use a spacer on the fronts.

since he mounted tires to the wheels there is no exchange possible, he will have to either run a 10mm spacer no question about it (5mm wont do it)

what is the exact wheel and tire size?

5MM Should be fine for the fronts I think, and 10mm in the rear imo

Project Kics makes great spacers...

project Kics spacers came with studs on them, in my case, i knocked those out and bought a set of APR extedned studs in stead....
