Wheel search for Ballin' begins! [56k-Sorry for the unnecessarily long thread]

Agh so most of you guys that know me, know when I pick new wheels, I look through about 28 billion wheels until I decide on a set.

Soooo let me know which wheels you like and what not. As of right now I'm considering these. I'll definitely be getting them wide, most likely staggered, and gotta live up to my standards so flushhh.

IForged lineup:
Looking into:
TE-10, TE-14, TE-16, TE-5S, TE-7

Colors

Pics of cars:

TE-10

TE-10

TE-10 Polished

TE-14

TE-16

TE-16 Polished

Work Varianza Line up
Looking into:
T1S, S4S, V5S

Pics on cars:
Work Varianza T1S

Work Varianza S4S

Work Varianza V5S

Considerations

1.Price:I was thinking about doing some more affordable wheels like ASpecs or some RJ Legends and then getting a bbk but IDK. The iForged are obviously more than the Works too so trying to decide if it's worth it.

2.Wait time:I'll be getting them brand new, so there will be a hefty wait time. Works is around 2 months and the iForged is about 3 months. February! That sucks

3.Widths:Probably going with some 10" rears and 9" fronts with low discs all around.

4.Exclusitivity:Work T1S have been one of my favorite wheels but a lot of people have 'em. Don't wanna jack anyone's swag but I'd still rock 'em.

Looking at this thread...god I'm OCD hahah

Oh and colors:

Work:Liquid silver

iForged:Between polished and anthracite/hyper gunmetal. Or...maybe white? hmm

TE10 in only polish, IF you got the bills, get um.

If not, second in line would be V5S, I say Id rather get these because 1 they're cheaper, 2 The wait time is less, 3 noone has them, 4 Iforged has recall or something right?, 5 I think they look the most VIP. Get um in BP, just like the pic above

Haha the black chrome is hot but I personally prefer the liquid silver...oh and nice try hahah The turned out to be wayyy too aggressive...like 2 inches sticking out aggressive hahah.

Where do you come up with all this damn cash to buy rims man?? Seriously... wtf?!?!

iForged is hot... worth the wait IMO. Personally, I can't see myself spending that much money on rims... can't justify it.

Anyway, whatever you come up with, I'm sure it'll be sick.

Good luck!

BTW, D2Autosport is a vendor on ClubLexus and I hear he gives pretty good deals out when you call him up. FYI

I love the Iforged TE-16's, I thought very hard about getting them for my Z06, ended up getting a deal on some 19" CCW 505's (look very similar to the TE-5S wheel) and went with them instead. Mine are polished and they are a bitch to keep up, I dont drive the car in bad weather and I switched out my brakes to ceramic pads to combat the dust (the stock pads would blacken the wheels after 50 miles of driving)so my upkeep isnt that bad, I have been caught in the rain twice and I had to sit down and spend 30 minutes on each wheel to get them nice again. Do yourself a favor and spend the few extra bucks on chroming them if you plan to drive in any type of inclimate weather.

Your car is gonna look very nice with whatever route you decide to go

For anyone looking for rims:
If you wanna save some money and don't mind buying used, check out the clublexus forums. They are always selling ballin' ass rims.

I'm lurking on their for my next set.

Haha I agree, just trying to figure out how they would fit up front. I'll hit you up with some offsets in a little, might do T1S...idk. Whatever it is, 2-3 month wait, need to get 'em before spring!

Yeah true, I wouldn't mind staggered though if they give me more lip/concavity. Another thing is, idk if I trust buying used wheels from people I don't really know. You just never know, might be a barrel bend or hairline crack that you never knew about.

i'd go with the iforged monoblocks. they are going to be stupid light...especially compared to works which aren't known for their light weight. the t1s look awesome though.
