Anyone have a good or bad experience with a wheel refinisher in Chicago? I need to have two wheels painted (factory silver), no repair work necessary. I suffered through having a set of four refinished in NY two years ago with very mediocre results after multiple redos. I would love to avoid having this experience again. Thanks!

I was curious what it costs if you need the edge of a lip cleaned up? like fixing a curb rash spot. did you have this done?

Continental Acura in Naperville... My car was delivered with two slightly gouged wheels, they fixed them through a refinishing process they offer. Mine were nowhere near what they describe they can fix.

FWIW - they did a real nice job up to the 1mm view... Not 5ft away or worse.

I say "mm" because I can feel a little roughness in the clearcoat with my bare hand... Basically without touching them I'd never no they were refinished and it blends perfectly with factory cause I can feel exactly where they stopped blending.

they have a place in Arlington Heights....I was gonna use them once before for a bent rim from my last car. They a little pricey though...they wanted to charge me $375.00.....at that price, I could buy a new wheel!

No way, negotiate with em I told em i was with a shop and they gave me each rim for $115...
