Wheel offset help???

Wassup fellow Acura owners?? I really need some help. I'm absolutely clueless when it comes to wheel offsets. What exactly does that mean? There are a set of wheels I want for my 2000 TL and I don't think they will fit. Can somebody help a brutha out?? lol

Wheel Offsets

Check out this tech article from Tirerack wich explains wheel offsets. I don't know what the ideal offset is for a 2000, but on my 04 I beleive it is 40 to 45ET. You also have to cosider hub bore. You want to make sure the wheels are hub centric. Again, I'm not sure what the hub bore is on the 2000's, but on the 04's its 64.1. Hope this helps
