wheel offset advise. please!!!

Will an 18x8 with 30mm offset look good? will it be far out? thanks for your help.

Now thats kinda low, 35 is pushing it, 38-42 is good for an 8" wide wheel.

Here is why I feel 35mm offset is perfect. This pic was in the Hawaii thread under the Photo Gallery. See how the rim in the back sits flush with the fender?

18x8 with 30 offset should be OK. I don't think they will stick out at all.

so basically, the lower the offset, the farther from center the lip of the wheel is?
