Wheel fitment thread: specs & images for reference.

After all the PMs I get on wheel fitment, I thought it would be resourceful to have a thread like this.

I know there is a thread created by stillhere153 regarding wheel fitment but I thought it was a good idea to start a thread with pictures and exact specs (diameter, width, and offset) to guide members in the right direction for ordering wheels for their cars. Mentioning current status of fenders and whether or not you have a camber kit and if so, how many degrees. Some like poke, some like tuck, and some like flush. Look here!

This can also be a good resource for how a certain brand tire stretches (for those of you into that kind of thing....)

NOTE: No distant pictures please; only up-close outer rim and fender pictures. Again, NO side shots, those do not help at all.

Format example:
Front: 18x8.5 +18, 215/40-18.
Rear: 18x9.5 +19, 225/40-18.
Fenders rolled & slightly pulled in the rear only.
Camber kit: none.

My current wheels:

Front: 18x8.5 +18, 215/40-18 falken 512s.

Rear: 18x9.5 +19, 225/40-18 falken 512s.

In the past....

18x9.5 +45, 275/35-18 nitto invo's all around.

Front: 19x8.5 +22, 215/35-19, dunlop direzza dz101.

Rear: 19x9.5 +22, 225/35-19, dunlop direzza dz101.

No camber kits, rear fenders rolled and slightly pulled.

Front: 19x9.5 +24, 225/35-19, dunlop direzza dz101.

Rear: 19x10.5 +22, 235/35-19, goodyear eagle F1 A/S

Front: 19x8.5 +22: Size already posted above but below is the best picture I have of this front set up:

Rear: 19x10.5 +36, 245/35-19 Falken 452.

Front & rear: 19x8.5 +36 all around, Falken ST-115.

Hope this is thread wasn't just made for pictures but also fitment questions.

Starting to look at rims, have some sizing questions. Car is just a daily, no tracking, nothing crazy.

Will these sizes fit and what would be the best choice.
1) 18 x 8.5 40 offset with a 235 or 245/40/18
2) 18 x 8.5 48 offset with a 235 or 245/40/18
3) 19 x 8.5 38 offset with a 235 or 245/35/19

I know #3 is what "the Apostle" is running, I will just need more tire as my family lives down a dirt road and would like the extra protection.

bforbrian or Stillhere can correct me if I am wrong, but with a 19x8.5+38 you should have no probloem with a 245x35x19. You may even be able to run a 235x40 or a 245x40if you need the extra "padding".

As far as 18's are concerned I think both options will work. This may help you as well. http://marksink.com/tire_wheel_offset/offset.html

I mentioned the other thread because stillhere takes the fitment questions.

I'll answer anyway. I'm assuming those sizes you'll be running all around.
As I stated previously, I need to know if the car is lowered at all.

Yes all around for all 3 in question.

Car is not lowered at the moment but have the Eibach Pro-Kit 1" sitting in the garage waiting to go on some time.

If your car is not lowered, I would go with 245 for all 3. If the car gets lowered, then a 245 can possibly cut the fender on very steep driveways and dips when turning. In the case the car gets lowered, I personally would do 235 up front and 245 in the back.

Please.. questions can be posted on stillhere's thread.
This is just for images for reference.

To answer your post, 215/35 up front and 225/35 in the rear. Might need a camber kit along with the narrow tire.
