What tire size?

Hi Guys-- i am looking into buying a new set of rims; size is 18x7.5 with +40 offset for my '06 TL. My first question is any problem with this size rim? Second question, what size tires should i be looking at?

I know these types of questions are asked a million times so thank you in advance to anyone who responds!

depends on the style of the rim..

stock = 17x8 +45.. maybe try looking for at least 18x8

tire 235/40 will work

The rims are Rays Gram Lights 57 Pro's; 18x7.5 +40 offset.

the size is weak... it'll fit tho, and you could run spacers if you want to flush it out a little

Will I have any issues with the speedometer or performance
or anything? Am I better off passing on these and finding something else?

change in speedo would be negligible.. steering shouldnt change, I assume the gramlights arnt that heavy

You CAN go with them, but not sure how you'll like the fitment .. but you can fix it later by buying spacers if you want (to make it sit more "flush")

If you have'nt ordered yet, I'd go with jwr0ng626, the size is weak! The TL is a car that can hold more without causing any problems. Rays Grams Lights are nice wheels, but you should consider an 8 or 8.5. The offset could go as low as +35 without mods as camber kits or rolling fenders.
