I just got 2 a-specs off ebay for $150, and the auction said they were alloy. Under some light they look alloy then under others they look gunmetal. Is there anything on the wheel that says? I need to know because I gotta get 2 more now lol.

 

those look to be the gunmetal aspecs from 2004. Check the backside of the rim, on one of the spokes it should be stamped with the Part No. and as well the size. If it's 18 x 8.5, it's def. one of the gunmetal ones which are pretty hard to find! If it's 18 x 8, I doubt it'll be gunmetal.

Yep 18 x 8.5. I knew there was a reason no one bid on them. No worries though if I can't find more, they were only $150. Oh well I was expecting it to be too good to be true anyway.

You can tell because they have no "lip" like the 8" ones do.

If anyone finds any or wants to get rid of a couple send me a PM or a reply. Sux I have 2 staring at me and can't put them on the car! I have a white TL with slight tints and I really think these will set it off.

 

def will set off the car, the aspec wheels IMO are the best made for the 3rd gen. but gluck with finding 2 gunmetal aspecs, they are rare, and most people that have them would probably want to hold on to them

I would suggest posting a WTB ad in the Black Market.

 

Gonna be hard to find two more rims, especially those. I'm selling my 04's in the black market now. Weren't too many of those 8.5"s floating around. Definitely a great deal though. Most curbed/bent A-specs still sell for $500-$600

I just bought my first car on Saturday, an Anthracite 2006 TL. I'm not the biggest fan of the stock wheels, but I don't think I'd want gunmetal A-Specs.
