What color are my A-Spec wheels?

What color are my A-Specs? I know they are not chrome, but they are like a shiny gunmetal:

I have a 2006.

They look like the Sparkle Silver, but to be sure I'd take the wheel off and look for a part number. If you search this forum there are plenty of threads that list the part numbers of each color.

If your car is an 06 Aspec from the factory then those are 18x8 and they are the silver color. If they are the 18.5 then they are the gunmetal color which I would not call gunmetal but it is slightly darker than the silver ones.

Here is a pic of my car which is a factory 04 Aspec and has the 18x8.5 rims.

These are the "gunmetal" ones but they still look silver to me especially when compared to my anthracite paint.

Poor OP.

Part Number and look up is your best bet. There is an older thread with part numbers and correct color descriptions around here somewhere.

If I remember correctly... Sparkle Silver, Dark Opal, Hyper Silver, Polished, Sparkle Silver, Ebony Black, Silver are all the SAME
Then there are the '04 Gunmetals, and the actual Chrome A-Specs...

They are not gunmetal. Here is a pic of gunmetal rims. I thought there was another color like satin silver that came out in 06 or later? Gunmetal are hard to find. Name: PICT2136.jpg

No, Sparkle Silver is definetly different than the "Ebony Black". I've never heard of "Dark Opal". Regardless, "Sparkle Silver" is the proper name for for ONE of the A-Spec rim colors, most of the others are not.

I think they are the Satin color also. Not shiny enough for chrome and not as "dull" as the sparkle silver.

I have the "chrome look" a-spec wheels. The wheels of the OP are definitely NOT "chrome look" unless they are dirty!

Sparkle Silver folks.

There are 3 colors...the '04 gunmetal look, the ebony black look (hyper black chrome look), and chrome.

I have the middle ones..

Bearcat posted a link to the pics and the description of the colors. 4 colors listed, 04 gunmetal which is not shown in the pics. 05-06 share 3 colors: Chrome look (top wheel) Satin (middle) Sparkle silver (bottom).
To the OP your wheels are satin, the middle wheel in the pics.

I have "your" rims in my basement waiting to be mounted on my 08 TL-S this spring. They are the 202E's as posted by fireman252525 - definitely NOT sparkle silver. Sparkle silvers do just that "sparkle" and are much more "silver-y" probably not a word, but hope this helps you out.

Enjoy the ride!

You are correct sir!

Nothing close to sparkle silver and not the chrome look either - they are the A-SPEC's...satin silver and chrome look wheels are NOT A-SPEC's they are considered an ACCESSORY wheel...

All the best,
Mike
