In words of Akon

"Cause thats the life when your

Driving in the (ghetto, ghetto)"

I think you will need a little more then rolling of the fenders to pull that off. But if you are stock height, might work. But then the lyrics apply anyways

Alright, so the moral of the story is, depending on how much you plan on dropping your car will greatly effect the tire size you choose. I'm planning on running 19x8.5's up front with a 35mm offset and 235's. And the rear will be 19x9.5's with a 40mm offset running 245's. I also just ordered megan coilovers, which will be installed first. Will I run into any issues with this setup?

little off topic but will 19inch with 225 35-19 tires rub with stock suspension?

I also wanted to know if i purchase these used wheels i am considering (motegi dpk off a pontiac) will they fit my 06 tl. Will I need a sort of spacers to make them fit in center hole properly? Or will they just bolt on?

I had a specs, but the curb decided to mess em up(only 1 survived).

Any help is excellent. I need some advice before I buy rims that dont fit, and I can't even drive my car . Thanks

I have the exact same setup and dropped about 2" all around. No rubbing but I'm rolling my fenders this weekend because I have 15mm/25mm spacers on the way. Since I'm running 245/35 in the rear I will most probably have to run some neg camber. I'm thinking about running 225's up front and 235's out back after reading this thread because I plan on going lower in the future....

OK brian, your probably gonna laugh at me for even thinking of this, but during your numerous wheel changes, did you ever have stock or Type S rims and use spacers to try to go flush? Im thinking 25mm spacers with 215/45R17 tires could look decent enough to last me until I can afford real rims.

^^^Sharksbreath (Aaron) had 15mm front/20mm rear spacers back when he had his stock type-s wheels. Looked pretty damn good if I say so myself!

On a different note, is it safe to run a 215/50/17 (1G TSX tire size) on our 17x8 3G TL-S wheels? I want to put my TL-S wheels on the wife's PWP TSX but I've only read people on the forum using the stock tire size 235/45 and some even 225/45, none running 215/50's....

so same spec wheels fit perfectly flush up front and back? I doubt that very much. I bet the front sticks out more than the rear

Do +22 all around, with 215/35 up front and 225/35 in the rear (if you don't mind stretching tires). You'll like the outcome.

^ just depends on the look you want if you go with that set up and a +20 something offset lowered and a 235/35/19 rear tire you will still need to roll rears or shave

i just added spacers to my rims to make my rears 19"x9.5" +25mm with a 235/35/19 tire and it sits flush... i had the inside of my fenders shaved this weekend because it did rub over bumps but now no rubbing

a 9.5" front is pretty large but at least its a +33 offset if i were you i would run a 225/35/19 you most likely will have to shave off the very front edge of the inner fender where it might rub/cut tire

Didn't we just answer that for you? Or did you mean what brand and model?

19x9.5 +33 is fine, but you'll want to run a 225/35 up front and 235/35 in the rear.

Good stretch tires are Falken FK452 and Dunlop Direzza DZ101.

Your spelling worries me.

I get most of my tires from discount tire direct since they have the cheapest prices.
