Want a more "luxury" (softer) drive
currenly I have 06 TL and the ride is little bit too firm for me. I am looking for a more "luxury" (softer) drive. What would you guys recommend me to do?
My goal is have a softer drive while meanwhile if not improve the handling without any drop

'07/'08 Base Shock/Springs --> Softest TL suspension in the (OE) 3G range.

+1 for '07/'08 shocks and springs. I think most TL drivers would find that setup ideal.

I'm biased, but I'd say get coilovers with adjustable damping, and dial it in to your specs....

I would just get new tires and try to live with it.
My parents recently bought a 2008 Toyota Avalon and i feel like the suspension is made of butter. It floats over everything and i HATE it. No steering feedback whatsoever.
I was in the car on the highway when we had to swerve to avoid an old lady merging into us and i swear the thing almost tipped over. Stiffer suspension means more control of the car. And to me, after that happened in the Avalon, stiffer suspension brings peace of mind.

I'm considering the Michelin Primacy MXM4. Costco has them @ $189.00 each plus $14.00 each to install. The good thing with Costco is that the installation price includes: lifetime balancing/rotation, nitrofil, and road hazard warranty. The MXM4 is a 94W tire with a 500AAA rating. I currently have the Bridgestone UHP 760 and the car handles great but any bump is so noticeable. I'm leaning towards the touring tire as well, or the Continental DWS. Costco currently has a sale on Bridgestones but I'm waiting on the Michelin sale.

I don't know Touring tires other than the OEM MXM4, which weren't all that soft. I prefer UHP tires, so it might be best to check the tirerack.com website for its tests of W- and Z-rated Touring tires.
Tires first, then OEM '07-'08 base TL shocks and springs if the tires don't soften the ride enough for you.

Softer ride, stock height, and improved handling???
As everyone said, '07-'08 springs and shocks and maybe a larger RSB though that will take away some of the softness you gain with the springs and shocks.
If you don't add some form of roll control you're going to end up with a setup that is very good on small bumps but when you hit the larger ones it's going to actually be more uncomfortable because the body is going to bounce a lot more. Having a ton of roll makes it feel like there's more g-force on you in the corners. Same with lots of braking dive. Keep in mind, stiffer swaybars were used in the '07-'08 models to keep roll under control. Nothing is free so softening it will help you out over small bumps but has the potential to worsen other areas besides performance.
What part of the ride do you dislike the most? Expansion joints/small sharp bumps would be helped with softer shocks and springs. There are some situations where worn shocks that are too soft will actually make it ride worse and going softer would be the wrong direction.

there is nothing particular I dislike. I guess I think the suspension is little bit too firm for my taste. I guess you are right that it is a tough call on the softness. Hmm, so if I want to maintain the control while achieving softer drive I should get 07-08 suspension + upgrade RSB (like comptech) ?
