Want to Lower Car But Need Advice
Hello all,
I'm more of a stock kind of guy, but I've been thinking about possibly lowering my Type S just a touch.
I really want to maintain a STOCK look. I want to keep my stock rims and tires. I don't have a body kit on my ride.
Is it worth lowering the car since Type S comes with a better suspension kit stock? Is there something subtle I can do to it?
I am looking to maybe lower the car an inch or so just to cover up some wheel gap. But I don't really want to compromise the ride too much if at all possible. I don't want to waste money on an already decent Type S setup.
What's the best way to go? A Spec suspension? Lowering springs? Different struts?

You should go through the subforum and just read read read OP. Lowering the car isn't anything new and has been done MULTIPLE times, just read up on what others have done and see what fits YOUR bill, likes and dislikes. The things you're asking are all a matter of opinion so you need to read what's been done and make your own.

so, if you only want to lower a little; you have a few options.
a) aspec suspension.
b) a mild drop via springs with stock shocks
c) mild drop via springs and aftermarket shocks
d) coil overs.
see, you have tons of options, and you need to go through each one to see if they fit your wants and needs and budget.

A mild drop with springs and stock shocks would most likely serve you well. As others have said it is ultimately up to you. We do sell spring sets at great pricing.
The Eibach kit only lowers about an inch, so that might be the way to go.

I went ASPEC for my drop since I didn't want to sacrifice comfort. It's a great compromise, drop is less then an inch, I want a little more now though lol s.tech or h.tech springs with Aspec struts would be a nice setup!
The Aspecs are super comfortable, my GSR has skunk2 pro-c's so going from that to the TL and Aspec suspension it fells like riding on a cloud.
