Volks Owner Te37 Come In!

Hello guys! recently bought my 08 WDP type S and looking for some new wheels for summer/track use, perfer in the color of bronze, Time Attack or maybe others, CE are nice but doesn't match the TL too much(i used to run CE28 bronze on my S2000) any picture/s of them on the Type S from the members? =)

btw what offset are ideal/best to run on the Type S with brembo brakes.

here is a pic of my car:

Thank You. ^-^

Geez...

1 guy says don't get em because they're played... then confesses he's gettin a set too.

They are played though... There's like 7 sets on the forum, and a few other sets in Gold.

Accurattein, datplayaz, and a few others.

More aggressive setup? How can you get more aggressive? Wider?

19x8.5 +43... that's the one you need.

You'll be rolling the shit out of those fenders too...

I run 8.5 +36 offset, dropped 1.5 on Tein SS... and I scrub a bit in the back with passeners over speedbumps. Adding a 20mm spacer will require longer studs, and will likely rub like a bitch.

Have fun with that.

TE37's don't have a lip... Running staggered would with TE's be extra stupid as there would be no "lip in the bacK" to advertise your staggered setup.

Volk LE37T's have a machined lip, but those have been discontinued by Volk Racing. Good luck finding a set of those.

Everyone who runs TE37s here runs 19x8.5 +43 offset...

Would a 18x8.5 work with a +40 offset? I may need to rethink if they won't.

my turn to hop in... since I seem to always be on this place I friggin know all the answers...
first
check this out - http://www.rbwheels.com/index.php?ma...ca3cc35f1d9be3

As for staggered setup... the te37 don't have big lips because that isn't what the wheel is about... what they do have is a concave face... which looks awesome

here is what I mean... you can tell it is a wider wheel... but on a fwd car... eh lol

just mounted one up 18x8.5 +40 and they fit perfect, about a 1/2 inch gap between the spoke and the caliper.

for 19" TE, there is 2" Lip with 9.5 +34 or +43.

8.5 don't have lips.
