TPMS will not pickup reading
Have a 07 TLS and have just put my summer tires and rims on and the TPMS will not pick up the pressure, is there a reset or a way to reboot the system. Have drove the car for a week or so and will still has not pick up the pressure. am i going to have to drive an hour back to my dealer to get this looked at. Hoping for a solution by myself.
Thanks.
Thanks.

They are suppose to sync up automatically after driving a few miles. If it hasn't worked after 1 long week then you have a problem. Bring it back. Are you sure you have TPMS mounted on your summer wheels?

You need a tool to wake then up. Put on summer tires on the mechanic put the tool to reset them faster then just driving. ![](http://www.brakeandfrontend.com/Content/Site308/Articles/03_01_2009/78483IMG6311jpg_00000035068.jpg)
Find after install tires on my right read high inflation rate then normal. After driving they returned to normal readings. Next day one tire read high number then returned to normal readings.

There is ways to fix broken sensors buy some tool kits. Is a patented product that has been designed to universally initiate all known tire sensors available in the marketplace today. The tool accommodates both magnetically and electronically triggered sensors so one tool is all you need
Or use this at any tire shop should have.![](http://www.tirereview.com/Content/Site309/Articles/06_01_2009/59399TPMScontin_00000022555.jpg)

Thanks guys for the input, ended up going back to the dealer and now they have to put a new sensor in according to dealer. they basically said the winter tires had no TPMS and when i put the stock rims and tires back on, the sensor had no reading for so long it shut down. This doesn't sound right to me but I'm stuck I guess.
