tpms valve stem caps

tpms valve stem caps

can i put chrome valve stem caps on my 06 tpms or do i have to keep these crappy grey plastic ones? anyone know?

I couldn't see why you'd need plastic ones. I don't think the stem is an antenna or anything.

Do NOT use chrome caps on the valve stems....they will seize up and be a bitch to come off....the MDX,RL and 2004 and 2005 TL caps are being replaced with the grey plastic ones..they came with metal ones and became such a problem,Acura began sending people new plastic ones in the mail to replace the ones on the car.
You have the "updated" caps

Agreed! Do not sure the metal ones! I had a set seize on me and I couldn't get it off. Had to replace the whole valve stems x 4.... Can we say ouch? Thank god it wasn't on the TL w/TPMS
