Toyo Winter tires- anyone experience them?
hey guys,
I'm anxiously searching for the perfect snow tire. I spoke to superior tire today, and they recommended the Toyo Garit HT high performance winter tire. They are H speed rated, and will fit perfectly on the TL-S stock rim. They come in 215/50/17. They are asking 230/tire including balancing and installation.
has anyone ever driven in deep snow with Toyo tires...how do they compare to other reputable winter tires? I'm assuming it's like night and day against our stock crap tires.
thanks in advance.

I had a set of Toyo's winter tires (cant recall the series) on my Prelude. They were the best winter tires I've owned. They were quiet, had great traction, hadled amazing (they were H rated) and last 4 winters before I sold the car.
Not sure about the exact tire your talking about BUT I would purchase another set of Toyos.
Your price seems a little high!
I've got Yokohoma IceGuards on now, a little noisy but the price was right-- $160per with a $10 a tire rebate!

I have put brand new Toyo Garit HT on my car for this winter. I will never without those tires anymore. They are amazing... and thrust me, lots of crapy road here in Ottawa this winter.
