Tork Imagine Wheels 19x8 Hyper Black

To all,
Finally got the approval from the wife to get some wheels. I came across the Tork Imagine wheels in hyper black. The biggest size is a 19x9 in which I think I might have a problem, so I'm looking at the 19x8 width wheels.

I dont know how to post pics so here is an website:

The highest offset that they have is 19x8 +40mm , will that work with the 2006 TL?

you shouldn't have a problem. you have to go with the 19x8. Also if you have a 6mt, you are gonna need spacers. i don't remember the exact offset but i got my rims from streetstyler dot com.. you can give him a call to verify, he is a super nice guy.

oh ok... i will give him the heads up if i speak to him.. im from S.philly but live in delware county now, clifton heights. The potholes are not that bad. I have driven in NY and it was pretty challenging. i would say to be careful with those rims, my chrome lip has a few dings in it here and there and i cant even recall how they got there. The rims are a little bit heavier, i definetely notice a decrease in acceleration. But, I kinda expected that w 19's.. i am about to get rid of my rims, I have the RJ legends on order and should be here tomorrow.

if u have an auto either the 35 or 40mm offsets will work. i would get the 35...it's 5mm closer to the outer fender. just don't get falken 452's and their damn "sidewall protection" bs.

just a quick thought. If i had to do it over, i would get a 245/35- 19 instead of the 235/35-19.. just a little more sidewall protection.

Thanks, Damien. I just ordered my wheels, the Tork Imagine Hyper Black 19x8. All the guy Mat/Mack did was talk about your car; Steve was not there at the time. He was very helpful and talked about the carbon fiber mods that they are doing on your car. You need to post a pic of it. I want to what she looks like. Oh, I planned on getting the 245/35-19 from the start. I had 235/35-19 on my Diamante.

Thanks, Damien. I just ordered my wheels, the Tork Imagine Hyper Black 19x8 +35mm offset. I was really overwhelmed by the weight of this wheel... 25 lbs for a 19x8 is not bad. Yeah, u talked to matt. they are both really cool guys. They have most of my underhood pieces, - intake cover, left and right covers, and the front shroud. I don't have the rear shroud since i have a greddy strut bar and it don't fit. They are going to carbon fiber all of it. I even have my gas lid carbon fibered but i really don't put it on since that is the only thing that is carbon and it dosn't really match. I think the next project is going to carbon the front and rear black plastic inserts of my aspec kit. These rims look amazing on the car and i get a ton of compliments. You are probably going to want to paint your calipers black since they will stand out like a sore thumb... The rims are extremely easy to clean also. Good purchase.. I would have offered you my rims, but they are kinda banged up. i hope matt gave you a really good deal also, He is really good about beating prices...

I know that it was mentioned before but will I need spacers for my 06 TL (Automatic)?

7.Do they rub - No rubbing
8. Transmission type (use of spacers if 6MT) - Automatic

yes, get the 19x8 w/ 35mm offset. the chrome lip is not triple chrome so use only soap and water.
