Tokico Blues with what Springs??

Anyone have any good suggestions about how different springs ride with the Tokico blues? I have stock springs now, and they seem too soft for the Tokicos. My main concern is NOT ride height, its Ride and handling.. Any input would be appreciated.

Can you get only the aspec springs? Where from? Can I use them with the tokicos, or only aspec struts?

the aspec suspension is sold with springs and shocks.

you would have to find someone that has them already split up, and then purchase just the springs.

How about the Eibach springs? They seem comparible to the aspecs in height.. Maybe a bit stiffer??

to truely know if they are stiffer, you would need the spring rates of both.

H&R Race, Aspec, Neuspeed Super Cup spring (from the SCK offered by Neuspeed/Koni). There's a Super Cup Kit fs on the BM that I'm eyeing. Can't decide between that and an RV6 V3 jpipe.

tokico thoughts after first 300 miles totally happy so far passed the wife test, brought the TL up the 99 from Fresno to Sacramento today felt like new, Took a spin from Sac halfway up the 80 to Reno and back tonight brings back alll the smoothness and spirirted driving i had not realized the TL had lost with the Aspecs hittting 60,000 miles

Nice.. Im trying to decide what springs to go with. My main concern is better handling than my Tokicos with OEM springs, not the ride heigth. I really dont want to get into needing camber kits. What do you think the best springs are for 1" max drop? Eibach and Tein H-specs are the ones ive been eyeing.. Any thoughts?

Not even worth it to buy 1inch lowering springs...you would only need a camber kit after 2inches...I was 1.6 before on springs ,no camber kit

It won't ...as long as you get it aligned....toe is what will wear your tires really fast if not aligned

Does anyone have any experience with the Tein H-spec springs? Also, how much do the Progress springs lower the car?

My experience with Eibach have been ride is to firm and buckboardish did not come close to passing the wife test, have a friend who put on Tein H Specs with stock struts drop made the TL looked sportier just not sure why and ride was smooth as stock with a very subtle change to the stance if that makes sense

I just installed neuspeed race springs with tokico HTSs, apparently the springs were supposed to be a 2 and 2.25" drop but they only lowered it 1" up front and 3/4" in the back... it rides pretty good, not quite as smooth as the stock aspec but if you hadn't rode in it before you wouldnt know it wasnt stock.

BTW: Im selling my stock aspec suspension if anyone is interested
