TL Type S Knockoff Wheels

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone of you guys have used these and can comment on their quality compared to genuine Type S wheels. Any finish issues, untrue wheels, balancings problems?

Thanks

I don't have them but there is a few threads here on waffle replicas, you may want to search-I think they are fine although they are slightly darker than OEM.

i bought 4 as a complete set last year but am not sure if it was from this seller or another one, but they are awesome wheels. i am not sure if they are slightly darker or not than the genuine wheels since i have never been able to compare them side by side, but they do have the exact look of the genuine ones and they ride great...no issue with balancing or anything. i got mine for $550 shipped from ebay (brand new) and am completely happy with them.

He has a pretty nice set there but I'm several hours away plus his price is a bit much for me. Thanks though

Just grabbed a set of these myself for the TL off eBay last week, got some new rubber wrapped on them (Conti DWS) and threw them on this weekend. Snapped a few pics...

The are definitely darker than the OEM style gunmetal...but to be honest, and especially on my white car, I like that they almost have the black appearance. And the fact that they were nearly $400 cheaper brand new...well...win-win so far.

Those are 18s? They look smaller than the real ones.

No...they are just aftermarket replicas of the 2007-08 TL Type-S wheels from Acura...17x8. Not sure where anyone ever said they were 18's.
