TL-S shock absorber

Does anyone have any info on how to test the shocks for a TL type s? Like how long it should take for the shock to rebound after pushing completely down? I have a set of oem suspension off the car right now which I'd like to test. Should it compress easily if I put my body weight on it? Also wanted to add that they are not leaking whatsoever, in fact they appear to be in very good condition, however I just want to test them for fun.

Yes, they compress fairly easily when you apply force to the shaft.

I tested my friend's oem 07 civic si suspension before, it felt a little stiffer. and when i tested his aftermarket track suspension i could barely get it to compress at all with my body weight. are TL-S suspensions really that soft in comparison?

^Maybe you've lost weight/muscle?

Seriously though, the way you're testing these shocks is far from scientific. Not all shocks are alike.
