a spacer, is pretty much a washer, the goes in between the wheels and the hub.... its literally, that... a "spacer" to push the wheel out a few more MM
I think you are probably going to need a 5mm spacer.... but im not 100% sure.
Also, if you do need them, you can buy cheap ones on ebay for like $15... or buy hubcentric ones (64.1) for Acura vehicles... that's what i would do, to reduce vibration.. those might cost about $40 or so

ok after doing some more research, ihave a few questions.... is it the offset (mine are 45) or the rim width (mine are 19x8J) that cause the spacers to be needed? does the tire i choose make a difference with the spacers?? just trying to figure this out before i purchase tires and attempt to get these put on
I was looking at the wheel/tire specs thread and found a few 6speeds that didnt need spacers...here are examples:
1.Brand of Rim - MOMO GT-R
2.Rim size (diameter and width) - 19x9
3.Offset - 38
4.Brand of tire - Nexen N3000
5.Tire size - 245/35/19 All around
6.Drop Type and Amount - None (A-Spec Soon)
7.Do they rub -no
8. Transmission type (use of spacers if 6MT) - 6MT no spacers
1.Brand of Rim - RonJon - Inspyre
2.Rim size (diameter and width) - 19" x 8.5"
3.Offset - 42mm
4.Brand of tire - Falken FK452 - 245/35/19
6.Drop Type and Amount - Eibach 1" drop - Comptech Adjustable Camber Kit
7.Do they rub - No rubbing
8. Transmission type (use of spacers if 6MT) - 6MT no spacers
1.Brand of Rim - Avus AC-M02
2.Rim size (diameter and width) - 19x8
3.Offset - +42
4.Brand of tire - Pirelli Pzero
6.Drop Type and Amount - Tein Springs 2"
7.Do they rub - Nope
8.Transmission type (use of spacers if 6MT) -6MT no spacers
1.Brand of Rim - AXIS GRAVITY
2.Rim size (diameter and width) - 18" x 9"
3.Offset - 40mm
4.Brand of tire - Falken 912
5.Tire size - 245/40-18
6.Drop Type and Amount - Neuspeed for the av6 1.5"fr 1.3rr
7.Do they rub - non so far
8. Transmission type (use of spacers if 6MT) - 15mm spacer to clear the factory brembo

Hey man, there are A LOT of wheels that will clear the brembos... Smart moving digging through the wheel fitment thread, but trust me... you have options....
The A-Specs will definitely need a spacer in the front, i believe a few members confirmed it, but not sure how much... maybe a 5mm or 7mm spacer
When you test fit the wheel on the front over the brembos, you will see if it clears, or if the wheel rubs against the caliper

Stop Drop and Roll
someone on craigslist is selling this on their TL in the bay area. I personally dont like it, but if it is lowered it might look better. And barf on the fender mod lol

I think those A-Specs would look 100x better if they were powdercoated in the gunmetal A-Spec color![2 Cents](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/2cents.gif)
But then again I'm not a huge fan of chrome.

From what I heard (and know) they won't clear the caliper. The monstrous 6 speed brembo calipers literally ned 1.75" of clearance where the factory brakes only require 0.25" of clearance at the peak point. Not sure on the specs of those wheels. I measured both brembo TL and auto TL, RL calipers, Accord and 4G TL brakes all at the dealerships with multiple wheels and spacer setups over a dozen times. I even recorded pics and measurements with my caliper measuring tool. I did it all before we produced all of our wheels to make sure they clear. High offsets, snug fenders and big brakes make for a hard time fitting deep lip wheels, thats why flush faced wheels are more popular on these cars. Even then, a slightly deeper drop center will make the inside of the back of the spoke touch slightly. Also, a 5mm spacer cannot be hubcentric, only a 15-25mm spacer can be made to be huibcentric because the hub bore peg is deeper than 10mm.
