Question Tires and Potholes

Have any owners of 04 TL's had bad experiences with the low profile std tires in potholes?

Sorry about your accident and pot hole experience. Aside from avoiding them does anyone have any advice? Would increasing air pressure help?

avoiding is all you can do...low profile tires will get bubbles when you hit potholes

Don't forget Arizona, which IMO has the best roads...

Rim Repair after Pothole

In searching for places that repair bent rims I found 2 - Wheel Collision in PA and here in NJ a place that is a mobile unit that will home to your home - Jersey Shore Alloy Wheel Repair.

Anybody familiar with them?

Hit a pothole last night, although I was just pulling away from a a full stop, so maybe at 20 MPH, but it was enough to blow out a Bridgestone. I don't think there was any rim damage. Second flat in 3 weeks (nail in tire then). Michelin Pilots go on tomorrow. Only 12.5K on those damn Bridgestones. What a piece of crap those things are.
