if you're looking into cheap DD tires, i've read the General G-Max AS-03 is pretty good too. It's what i'll be picking up when my Hankook Evos go.

+1 I'm probably gonna get a set of these to replace my AVIDs by the end of the year.

The General G-Max are supposed to be good tires. Have been rated very good. Had Generals on my 4Runner. Nice riding tire.

Continental 235/45-17 Extreme Contact DWS
When the need to be replaced I will definitely stick with the DWS and up the size to the 245/45. I will stick to the stock rim on my 08.

Hankook v12 Evo, Continental DW for summer tires, Continental DWS for all-season.
