it says dont post anymore in wheel tire spec/pic thread, so ...
if i got 17x8 wheels, and used 245 45 / 17 tires would they rubb?

or if i got 18x8 wheels. then about how comfortable from stock, is a 235 40 / 18 tire?

no, none of those will rub because those are all very mild increases from stock.

now, if you're lowered, thats a different story

what about comfort, i mean im not lookin for a cadillac, but i dont wanna feel every bump in the road either.

would an 18x8 with 35mm offset, be more likely to rubb then an 18x8 with 45mm offset using 245 40 / 18 tires or 245 45 / 18? with no drop that is? using stock height.

I have 18x9's with a 35 offset and the A-SPEC suspention, no rubbing at all. The A-SPEC drops only about an inch. Hope that gives you and idea!

are u using 235 45 or 245 40?
