What is your concern exactly?
Uneven tire wear has many causes including improper tire pressure and bad alignment. Alignment will be altered whenever you change the overall diameter of the tire or by lowering the suspension. Clearly, the biggest issue arises with a suspension drop where the camber becomes more "negative". Although using keyboard characters will exaggerate the situation, here is what the normal alignment of tires looks like if you were looking at them head on:

Here's what they look like with increased negative camber:

It is that situation that wears the insides of the tread more quickly.
225/55s are exactly the same diameter of the stock 205/60s. The rim width is within the accepted range by the tire manufacturer. See my earlier post with the Bridgestone attachment.
So, I see no reason whatsoever why using them would have any deleterious effect on wear.
