Tire Update
I know this is going beyond beating a dead horse...but hopefully this experience could help others. With VERY little effort my dealership agreed to replace the EL42's with 4 new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S....with my cost being $100. That is with mounting and balancing. Im pleased right now, hopefully other TL'ers battling winter in the midwest can get a similar deal.

When these dealers swap the tires, do they take the tires off another TL (that has Michelin) and then put those on your TL and then put the EL-42's on the other TL???

No they do not. I had the option to get any tires I wanted, I just had to make up the difference from what it would cost Acura to put on a new set of EL42's. I could have gotten a set of Pirelli Pzero Nero M+S for no additional cost, but I opted to get the Michelins and kick a little from my pocket for a better tire (IMHO).
