Tire stretch

need some help here planning on getting tsw rims I believe that’s what they’re called I see everyone has them. And I wanna stretch the tires out just a little bit. My stocks are the OEM Type s rims. I believe they’re 235/45/17. With a 45 mm off set. The new rim is 18X8. So to stretch them just a little bit can I put on a 215/35/18 with a 35 Mm offset ?

This is exactly what I want. And those are the exact same rims. Does anyone know what wheel spec he’s running

I'm confused, why would you want to run such a skinny tire?

I'm not a fan of stretched, but some people are. I'd rather a wider contract patch. Just make sure to maintain a close tire and rim diameter to the stock size.

Not doubting that the wheels you're planning to buy are TSWs but THE wheel that everyone has is the XXR 530, there's a massive thread on it lol

18x8 +35mm offset eh?

Those specs are not aggressive at all. It really depends on how low you are and if your fenders are rolled/if you plan on rolling them.
You should be good with 235/40/18. If not that, I'd go 225/40/18.

I honestly don’t want aggressive just a little stretch and I want the flush look

235/40/18 is stock tire size for a-spec wheels which are 18x8 +45 so I think if you're looking for a slight stretch go with 225/40/18

okay perfect and would 35 offset be good ? I’m not rolling the fenders just leaving it how it is. I just want that flush look

18x8+35 will be 10mm (~3/8") more aggressive than your stock wheels.

Meaning that they will sit outboard 3/8" more than stock.

So...no, they will not be flush.

And no you don't need a skinny tyre to make them fit.

Your car will look like it has slightly more aggressive wheels than stock...but with unnecessarily skinny tyres.

Not sure what the max width/offset that a TL can take with stock fenders.

Maybe 8.5" width and +25 or 30 offset?

9" width and +35 offset?

oh wow thank you. I’ll try 9” with a 35 offset.

Definitely consider how low your car is, because suspension height affects geometries and therefore affects how flush your wheels will be.
The picture that you posted above from ig definitely has fenders rolled.
