Tire size

Has anyone tried p225 50 17 on their 3gtl? Was going to put a set on the rear wheels. What do you think?

Never tried that size as I typically just stick with stock sizes, but according to my tire height calculator app they are overall very close in diameter to the stock 235/45/17 sizes. Less than a half inch overall diameter difference.
Might be kind of weird though to put a skinnier tire on the rear. May not be noticeable though I dunno.

OP is there a reason why you want to go with that tire spec? If you are stock; stick with stock spec tires.

^while it will work fine, there isnt a need to deviate away from factory specs.

No reason some one gave me two of em so i said hey let me see. Initially he told me they were wider than the stock tires thats why i had said id put them on the rear wheels. I see they are slimmer now so i don't know

What do you mean by deviate away from factory specs? That it wouldnt affect the performance of the car right?

Yes, those are smaller like you just notice. Our factory specs are 235-45-17 (assuming you are on OEM wheels).
