Tire Problems
I wanted to know if anybody else is having problems with their Michelin Pilot tires for the TL-S. I've had two tires bubble up on the sidewall and both of which were not covered under the dubious Michelin warranty.

Michelin suks. I had 2 bubble on 2 tires. It bubbles easily. drive slowly to a residential curb that slopes up to the side walk. Drive such that your rim pinches the sidewall when your tires hit the curb. BINGO.. Bubble!
Michelin wont reimburse either. Buy Nankang or Toyo tires.

Going shopping to replace the tire tomorrow because of a sidewall bubble on the front left tire. What pisses me off, is the rare size for these tires and everything plus work comes out to like $200 for one!!!
I would spend some more money and get 4 new better tires, but since I'm putting on 18s, that will have to wait.

It's all in your tire dealers hands.....he is allowed to HELP you out with the price. It's called a goodwill adjustment, it will usually be 30-50% discount. If you've got a good tire dealer he will call Michelin for you and see what they will give. It usually will only cover up to 8k miles or so............

Michelin didn't give me squat! I am not willing to purchase any more Michelin products in the future. What really angers me is that for a company that prides itself on quality (as seen on TV), I would expect some decent customer service, especially in light of the price of these tires!
Thanks to all for the feedback. If nothing else, it makes me feel better.

I didn't mean your car dealer....I meant a tire dealer such as Discount Tire Co. or in your case America's Tire Co......
But you're welcome, sorry it didn't work out

Once you get a bubble, how much longer will the tire last? Would it be safer if I move it to the back and have two good front tires? I still have about two more weeks before I get new tires.
