wondering how much play is too much. any is bad as far as i know. i have the front left tire jacked up and can wiggle it without the right tire moving. wheels on the ground there is a popping sound on both sides of the steering rack...

it is a 04' with 60k on it. i can't believe the tre's are bad? can someone rock their wheel back and forth with the engine off and tell me if there is a pop when the wheels move?

 

anyone help me out before i put new ends on?
